Dealer specification guide

Start every granite columbarium with the niche program.

Columbarium work is project-specific. Capacity, niche dimensions, door layout, inscriptions, structural support, setting conditions and local requirements need to be resolved before a production drawing can be approved.

Define capacity and niche size

Confirm the number of single or companion niches and the clear interior dimensions required for the urns the project is intended to serve.

Coordinate doors and inscriptions

Review door material, attachment method, numbering, name layout, emblems and replacement access as part of the complete elevation.

Plan structure and installation

Foundation, lifting access, component weights, anchoring, drainage and applicable cemetery or municipal requirements must be coordinated for the site.

Distinguish single and companion niches

State how many urns each niche must accommodate and verify the actual urn dimensions; the words single and companion do not replace a clear internal width, height and depth.

Approve the niche schedule

Coordinate row and column numbering, door sizes, future inscriptions, replacement access and the record system used by the cemetery, church or project owner.

Confirm the complete project

Request an approved elevation and component schedule covering overall size, niche count, stone thicknesses, cap, base, walls, dividers, doors, finish and lifting requirements.
