Granite Memorial Bench Dimensions and Specifications

A granite memorial bench should be ordered as a coordinated assembly, not from the seat length alone. The seat, back, legs or pedestals, foundation, finish schedule, inscription areas and setting conditions all affect fabrication and delivery.

Name every granite bench component

Seat
Provide seat length, width and thickness. Identify the top, front, back, ends and underside where a particular finish, edge or support interface is required.
Back or memorial panel
For park-style benches, specify the back dimensions, shape, inscription field, attachment points and relationship to the seat and supports.
Legs, pedestals or solid ends
List the dimensions and quantity of every support. Show spacing, orientation, joints, holes and any carved or polished faces on the approved drawing.
Foundation or setting surface
Keep the granite components separate from the site foundation. Confirm cemetery or project-owner rules, drainage, anchoring and installer requirements for the actual location.

Plan finishes, inscriptions and use

Finish schedule
Identify polished, honed, steeled, dusted, sawn or rock-pitched surfaces for every component. A finish abbreviation should not replace a clear drawing.
Lettering and artwork
Confirm names, dates, emblems, portraits, carving and panel dimensions against the usable face rather than the overall outline of the stone.
Cemetery memorial bench
Verify permitted location, overall size, foundation, inscription content, orientation and maintenance requirements with the cemetery before fabrication.
Civic, park or donor bench
Coordinate accessibility, public circulation, plaque or donor-recognition requirements and site-owner approval when the bench is part of a civic project.

Prepare a wholesale bench inquiry

Design reference
Send the Angel Granites design number, reference image or drawing and explain which shape, support and artwork details must be preserved or changed.
Granite and quantity
State the granite color, finish, number of complete benches and whether matching components or future duplicate units are expected.
Weight and handling
Request final component weights only after dimensions and stone are confirmed. Plan lifting, unloading and setting equipment around the approved assembly.
Packing and delivery
Provide the receiving address, business contact, unloading capability, appointment restrictions and any requirement to label or ship related components together.
